Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter for Water and Industrial Liquids

The HHD Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter is designed for non-invasive flow measurement of water, cooling water, hot water, purified water, industrial process liquids and other relatively clean liquids. It is widely used in HVAC systems, water treatment, factory energy management, building automation, irrigation and industrial flow monitoring.

Using the ultrasonic transit-time principle, the external sensors are mounted directly on the outside of the pipe, so no pipe cutting, drilling or process shutdown is normally required. This makes installation easier and reduces maintenance cost, pressure loss and leakage risk.

Multiple configurations are available, including wall-mounted, DIN-rail mounted, handheld/portable and pipeline-mounted versions, allowing the meter to be used for permanent monitoring, control cabinets, field testing and industrial automation projects.

With measurement accuracy up to ±1%, repeatability of 0.2%, and a measurement cycle of 500 ms, the meter provides stable bidirectional flow measurement for a wide range of pipe sizes and operating conditions.

Flexible Signal & System Integration

HHD ultrasonic flow meters support multiple industrial signals and communication options, including 4-20mA, 0-20mA, RS485 Modbus RTU, OCT output and optional HART.

Selected models can also receive external pressure, temperature, liquid level and other analog signals, making them suitable for PLC, DCS, SCADA and energy-management systems.

Historical flow data can be stored for long-term monitoring and analysis, including daily, monthly and yearly accumulated flow records.
